I could not agree more. It is really the coveted time slot, as it also allows good pre-game tailgating and hot tubbing time.
As far as the aggie game goes, I tend to agree with you Joe. I think Coach Fran thought we could win by 20 if we ran the ball every play. He played it so conservatively that we damn near let 'em beat us. Had we lost this one, Fran would have never lived it down. We escaped!...as blake always says " good teams find ways to win". Does that mean we're a good team? probably not.
What is really important is that I hit it right on the head concerning Tech this year...they lost their offensive and defensive MVP and their new QB doesn't know the run n shoot offensive just yet. How in the world could they not have a let down? This year will be a painful rebuilding year for Tech...
I predicted they would be lucky to get a split with UTEP and TCU...and they were. They very well could be 1-2 right now. Tech fans should be excited. The patsy schedule last year combined with the blown calls by officials(OU game) probably lulled tech fans into a false sense of confidence.
