Harrell Signs with Dallas?
Getting confirmation from an odd source, so unsure yet if it's true.
If it is true, it's going to be an even more fun pre-season than normal. Obviously, with both McGee and Harrell battling each other, the rivalry will spill over into the NFL.
At any rate, thank you, Football Gods, for ensuring all of us that baseball sucks it, and that pro basketball swallows it. Or is it the other way around?

that would be surprising, but hell, why not. What a great story that would be!
DMN says he will participate in Browns rookie camp, and that the report from Rivals, is wrong.
I thought it was weird sounding - a KSU Rivals page reporting this. Some guy I've never heard of with his "Ranch Report" stating that Harrell had signed.
Anyway, it appears Jerry has his next Quincy Carter. I hope I'm wrong - would hate to lose that pick to nothing, but what else do I have to bank on other than facts over the last 4 years?
Harrell will have it tough in Cleveland, but not because of Mangina - they've got 4 QBs already, and unfortunately, I don't see him moving up to #3. #4 maybe, but who keeps 4?
Hopefully, this will be like the Welker thing - goes to camp with the Chargers, scores a TD on a return, misses the final cut, and subsequently lands with the Fish.
He definitely has a place somewhere I believe, it's just not a very big niche. The right situation is out there though for #6.
So McGee is Quincy Carter and Harrell is Wes Welker?
We'll see.
In a sense, yes - Quincy Carter never did much in college; nor did McGee.
Harrell and Welker both had similar careers.
I would argue with the concept that McGee "never did much in college". He is first in completion percentage and second in career yardage in school history. Two year starter. 2-1 against UT as an underdog. He had a good career at A&M in some very down years.
Regardless, that wasn't the context of your Quincy Carter comparison. You were referencing Carter's failure in the NFL, and speculating that Harrell would be like Welker in the NFL. Nice try though.
