A&M/Miami

Who knows what the hell will happen this Saturday afternoon? I am hearing that Stephen McGee's status is "uncertain". That's the same thing we heard about Reggie McNeal when they wanted to get McGee a start against Texas in 2005.

Miami is not a good team, and neither is Texas A&M, so this should be an interesting game. I hope to see the continued "blossoming" of freshman receiver Jeff Fuller, and really think we should see some kind of improvement from the O-line....they certainly can't get any worse. If Tannehill (3rd string QB/starting receiver) is healthy, then we actually have a good pair of receivers. If Tannehill is still out with the ankle, and McGee doesn't play, then the backup QB is Tommy Dorman, another fish. How quickly you can go from deep/experienced at QB to very thin.

Is Tech playing AT Lubbock Christian, or is that a home game?.....oh, wait, it's UMASS. Do they have a football team or do they just put pads on the basketball guys?

McGee must be out - if you're barely 1-1 against 2 poor teams, then it's time. Knowing absolutely zilch about the backup - most notably his name - he's already proven he's a better QB.

McGee is really a poor QB. I've never seen him complete one pass I don't think.

As for Tech's opponent, it's UMass and they are ranked #9.............in the Substandard Division AA, or whatever it's called now.

you are wrong Blake. McGee has completed quite a few 5 yards outroutes on third and 12.

You're right - PLEASE KEEP MCGEE AS STARTER, Fat Mike.

He wouldn't even make water boy on a Tech team. But I'm sure he's a nice guy.

BTW - the game was a little embarassing. It didn't even qualify as a glorified practice.

Although I do understand the Big XII is plenty strong, I still wish Tech would schedule at least 1 quality non-con per year.

Colorado does a nice job every year.

I wish we had Tech's non-con schedule this year.

............actually, maybe I don't.

If McGee were the Tech starter, he would be setting records for passing, just like every other scrub they run through there.

I'm not convinced McGee could even make the Tech team - that is, unless he can place kick.

Seriously, if he were to attempt to walk on, what position would it likely be for?

I seriously doubt that McGee would be cut from any roster in the big 12. you are high.
